Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

Vneuron is seeking a senior leader to drive its information security strategy. You will design, implement and maintain an ISO 27001‑compliant ISMS, strengthen data protection, reduce risk, raise security awareness across the organisation and guide the company toward successful certification.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive ISMS aligned with ISO 27001.
• Lead the organisation toward ISO 27001 certification and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify, assess and mitigate information‑security risks across all departments.
• Strengthen data confidentiality, security controls and incident‑response processes.
• Integrate logical, technical and physical security controls into the ISMS framework.
• Conduct internal audits and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver employee awareness and security‑training programmes.
• Monitor regulatory requirements such as GDPR and ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in information security, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in ISO 27001 frameworks and information‑security governance.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and other regulatory compliance obligations.
• Background in software security and secure development practices is a plus.
• Excellent risk‑management and incident‑response capabilities.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
