Chargé d’étude environnement (H/F) – Tunis

About the role

SYSTRA, a global engineering and consulting group specialized in public transport and sustainable mobility, is looking for an Environmental Study Officer to join its Consulting, Planning and Territories division in Tunis. The role combines technical expertise in environmental regulation with commercial support for project bids.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory and environmental diagnostics for infrastructure, energy and urban development projects.
• Plan, monitor and control regulatory procedures such as DUP, DAE, DLE, MECDU and ICPE.
• Draft regulatory dossiers covering urban planning permits, heritage sites, and industrial installations.
• Analyze project impacts on physical, biological and human environments and propose avoidance, reduction and compensation measures.
• Write environmental design studies and contribute to tender responses for public and private clients.
• Manage mission planning and budgeting.

Required profile

• Degree in environmental engineering, ecology, geography or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance procedures.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and regulatory dossiers.
• Ability to assess environmental impacts and define mitigation strategies.
• Good communication skills for interfacing with public authorities and private stakeholders.
