C++ Software Engineer

About the role

FIS is looking for a motivated C++ Software Engineer to join the Exchange Feed Handler team. You will work on critical financial infrastructure that connects to more than 60 global exchanges, ensuring high‑performance, reliable data feeds for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and enhancements for Exchange Feed Handlers.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve production bugs to maintain system stability.
• Write comprehensive unit tests to guarantee product quality.
• Follow the team’s development process and coding standards.
• Mentor and guide developers across sites in Paris, Tunis, and India.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to production teams and clients.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
• Good documentation practices and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Experience with source‑control systems.

Required skills

• Advanced C/C++ programming (real‑time, design patterns, templates).
• Multithreaded application development.
• Unit testing and test‑driven development.
• Source control (e.g., Git, SVN).
