About the role
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with deep AWS and DevOps expertise to design, build, and operate secure, resilient, and highly available cloud infrastructure. This remote, hands‑on role focuses on automation, platform reliability, and enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimise secure, scalable AWS environments for production workloads.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible and related tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated software delivery.
- Manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive long‑term fixes.
- Collaborate with software engineers to embed DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Optimise cloud resources for performance, security, reliability and cost efficiency.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Cloud, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services, networking and account management.
- Solid background in Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
- Fluent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.
