Worker Engagement Specialist

About the role

Ulula, a subsidiary of EcoVadis, is looking for a freelance Worker Engagement Specialist to lead digital worker‑voice programs across French‑speaking African nations. You will work remotely with the Client Services team, collaborating with suppliers, brands, and workers to improve labour conditions and supply‑chain transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and promote digital worker engagement platforms with suppliers, both virtually and on‑site when possible.
• Secure management buy‑in and deliver training on platform usage.
• Facilitate worker participation and encourage honest feedback.
• Manage grievance cases through the digital grievance mechanism, coordinating with suppliers and brands.
• Provide investigation and remediation support upon request from brands.
• Maintain regular communication with the global team, including evening meetings with colleagues in Canada and Europe.

Required profile

• Background in social compliance, workers’ rights, or supplier engagement.
• Experience working in or with French‑speaking African countries.
• Strong interest and ability to use technology for stakeholder engagement.
• Flexibility to handle varied tasks and work independently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital engagement platforms and case‑management tools.
