Shift Leader – Operations Quality

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Shift Leader for Operations Quality to oversee the quality function on the production floor. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure compliance with standards, and act as the gatekeeper for product conformity during your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations Quality unit, meeting defined KPIs and objectives.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and drive service delivery enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to standards, governance, and process execution.
• Plan team activities, set objectives, and monitor performance.
• Determine training needs, support professional development, and coach team members.
• Exercise authority to stop production lines or product delivery when non‑conformities are detected, and release after corrective actions.
• Supervise sorting activities to protect customers and control quality costs.
• Coordinate transversal resolution of quality issues, including warranty returns and recurring incidents, across all facilities.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an industrial or automotive quality environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, change‑management, and result‑orientation.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and handle conflicts.
