Shift Leader – Operations Quality

About the role

LEONI is seeking a proactive Shift Leader for Operations Quality to oversee the quality function on the shop‑floor. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure compliance with standards, and act as the first line of defence against non‑conformities in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations Quality unit, setting objectives and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and drive service delivery enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to standards, governance, and process execution.
• Plan and coordinate team activities to cover all production stages and incoming requests.
• Define tasks, monitor performance, and evaluate results of direct reports.
• Assess training needs, support professional development, and promote coaching and change management.
• Exercise authority to stop production lines or product delivery when non‑conformities are detected, and release after corrective actions.
• Supervise sorting activities to protect customers and manage quality costs.
• Coordinate transversal resolution of quality issues, including warranty returns and recurring incidents, and disseminate solutions across facilities.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operations quality or similar role.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, and change‑management abilities.
• Result‑oriented, resilient, self‑organized, and capable of conflict management and teamwork.
