Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Relocate to Portugal

About the role

Affinity is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join its growing team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software solutions for clients in banking, financial services, and insurance, while enjoying a full relocation support package to Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform API testing (REST, JSON) and validate data using SQL.
• Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure timely delivery.
• Track defects and manage test documentation using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or X‑Ray.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required profile

• College degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
• Experience in banking, financial services or insurance is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Good written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Portugal with company support.
