Junior QA Consultant

About the role

Axe Finance is seeking a proactive Junior QA Consultant to ensure seamless software deployment and support knowledge management, contributing to operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing, design and execute test cases, and run functional, regression and end‑to‑end test campaigns.
• Identify, document, track and verify defects using QA and project‑management tools.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated functional and regression tests under senior guidance.
• Convert suitable manual tests into automated scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to QA process improvement, test planning, risk identification and documentation of best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA, internships a plus.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#).
• Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon or Playwright.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Understanding of SQL/database concepts for data validation.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar test/defect management tools.
