Senior Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Manager will lead the planning and execution of production activities across assigned manufacturing sites. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures that production goals, quality standards, and cost targets are consistently met while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct development and implementation of production processes to achieve output, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritize production schedules based on new product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
• Plan, administer, and monitor budgets, providing recommendations and controlling capital expenditures and labor costs.
• Develop staffing plans, determine manpower requirements, and oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of personnel.
• Set operational objectives, create work plans, and delegate tasks to supervisors and professional‑track employees.
• Participate in the creation and revision of company policies that impact both local operations and broader organizational practices.
• Manage one or more departments, potentially supervising subordinate supervisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading manufacturing or production teams in a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Strong background in budget management, capital expenditure control, and labor cost optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop schedules, forecast manpower needs, and allocate resources effectively.
• Experience in policy development and implementation that influences company‑wide operations.
• Excellent leadership and people‑development skills, with a track record of hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
