Senior Interior Draftsman (Remote)

About the role

Scope Merge is building a dedicated design and technical team in Tunis for a Dubai studio that delivers luxury residential and hospitality projects across the Gulf. The position is a full‑time remote role, employed on a Tunisian contract, working closely with the Dubai design team.

Key responsibilities

• Produce complete interior construction drawing packages from concept and design‑development information.
• Create floor plans, setting‑out drawings, furniture layouts and reflected ceiling plans.
• Develop flooring and finishes layouts, wall elevations and sections.
• Prepare internal architectural details, bathroom and kitchen details, staircases, doors, partitions and wall cladding.
• Generate detailed bespoke joinery and millwork drawings.
• Coordinate lighting positions with reflected ceiling plans and integrate architectural, structural and MEP information.
• Maintain clean drawing standards, layering and dimensions, and identify discrepancies before issue.
• Support schedules, specifications and tender packages, and review work from junior draftsmen.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of drafting experience in interior design, interior architecture or fit‑out.
• Expert‑level proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and BIM is a significant advantage.
• Extensive experience with luxury residential and/or hospitality projects.
• Deep understanding of luxury interior construction, including joinery, stone, timber, metal, glass, ceilings, flooring and specialist finishes.
• Background with international consultancies, luxury fit‑out contractors or projects in the UAE/GCC is a strong plus.
• Strong English communication skills for remote coordination with designers, architects and lighting designers.
