Senior Interior Designer

About the role

Scope Merge is building a dedicated design and technical team in Tunis for a Dubai studio working on luxury residential and hospitality projects across the Gulf. You will be employed on a Tunisian contract and work full‑time with the studio’s design team in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interiors for luxury villas, penthouses, 5‑star hotels, suites, lobbies, restaurants and spas.
• Build design concepts, moodboards, material palettes and presentations.
• Space planning, furniture layouts and circulation strategies.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and accessories.
• Develop bespoke furniture, joinery and architectural details.
• Prepare and review plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Develop FF&E specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, lighting designers, landscape designers and MEP consultants.
• Direct visualizers to maintain design intent and review shop drawings and samples.
• Guide junior designers and ensure consistent design quality across projects.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of interior design experience with a portfolio of high‑end residential or luxury hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max or Rhino is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of luxury materials such as natural stone, timber, metal, glass and specialist finishes.
• Experience with bespoke joinery, furniture design, FF&E specification, lighting integration and fit‑out processes.
• Background working with international studios, luxury hospitality brands or UAE/GCC projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English and ability to work remotely with a multidisciplinary team.
