Senior Fullstack Developer (Java & Angular) – Portugal (Relocation)

About the role

Smart is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join its technology consulting team in Portugal. You will work on national and international IT and telecom projects, developing modern web applications using Java, Spring and Angular.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for client projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using Angular (version 2+).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality through version control, continuous integration and automated testing.

Required profile

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Java and object‑oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring framework (core, Spring Boot).
• At least 3 years of experience with Angular (version 2 or higher).
• Familiarity with Git, Maven and SQL databases.
