Senior Associate – Investment Fund (Tunis)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a lean, senior investment team at an established fund focused on high‑growth companies across Africa. Reporting directly to the senior investment team, you will become an integral part of a small deal team and take ownership of transactions from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex three‑statement financial models, including scenario, sensitivity and returns analysis.
• Lead financial, commercial and operational due‑diligence workstreams end‑to‑end.
• Draft investment memoranda and presentation materials for the Investment Committee.
• Support transaction execution in collaboration with legal, tax and technical advisors.
• Monitor portfolio companies through reporting, covenant tracking, KPI analysis, and valuation updates.
• Conduct market and sector research to support deal origination.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, private markets, or a comparable environment.
• Exceptional technical ability with strong financial modelling and analytical rigour.
• Fluent English – the working language of the fund.
• Strong academic background in finance, engineering, economics or related discipline; CFA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Meticulous, autonomous and comfortable working in a demanding, low‑supervision environment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Tunis.
