Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and industrialise end‑to‑end AI solutions for a range of international clients. You will work in a dynamic, highly regulated environment, turning business challenges into scalable, production‑ready models.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete AI architectures, from data collection to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and optimise machine‑learning, deep‑learning and generative AI models (LLM, RAG, prompt engineering) with a focus on performance and efficiency.
• Industrialise models using MLOps/LLMOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, Docker, Kubernetes and drift monitoring.
• Translate business needs into concrete use cases such as segmentation, fraud detection, recommendation systems, chatbots and copilots.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to ensure data quality, lineage and regulatory compliance.
• Address governance, ethics and compliance issues, including explainability, bias mitigation and auditability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members and contribute to the AI roadmap.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in data science, AI or related fields.
• Proven track record moving AI prototypes to production in complex environments (banking, insurance, etc. is a plus).
• Strong results orientation with a product‑ and business‑driven mindset.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Excellent command of Python and SQL.
• Solid experience with Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Deep knowledge of recent generative AI approaches (LLM, RAG, prompt engineering).
• Experience deploying models as APIs or micro‑services.
• Proficiency with MLOps/LLMOps tools such as MLflow, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience on Azure, AWS or GCP.
