SAP ABAP / CPI Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP / CPI Consultant to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that integrate both SAP and non‑SAP systems. The role involves close collaboration with functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
• Design and implement SAP CPI integration scenarios for seamless data exchange.
• Collaborate with functional experts to gather requirements and produce technical specifications.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user‑acceptance testing for all deliverables.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot ABAP and CPI issues.
• Stay current with SAP technologies and recommend optimizations.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and deployment activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience and at least 4 years with SAP CPI.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and developing SAP CPI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADI, User Exits and IDOCs.
• Familiarity with SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Preferred SAP certification in ABAP development or SAP Integration Suite.
