Project Manager – WOSOL Project (Libya)

About the role

The ICU Institute is seeking a Project Manager to lead the WOSOL project, funded by AICS, aimed at strengthening public health and WASH services in the urban districts of Janzour (Tripoli) and Zaroq (Misurata) in Libya. The role is based remotely in Tunis with regular field missions to Libya.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all project activities to meet objectives, timelines and funding requirements.
• Oversee quality assurance and overall project management.
• Directly coordinate ICU activities with partners and local stakeholders.
• Supervise and monitor local project staff.
• Organise partner meetings, define tasks, timelines and joint work plans.
• Prepare interim and final project reports.
• Handle financial and administrative tasks, including petty‑cash reporting, budgeting, procurement quotations and contract management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing development projects.
• Ability to coordinate with partners and local authorities.
• Experience in financial and administrative management.
• Willingness to travel to Libya for field missions and obtain security clearance.

• Gross salary of €3,000 – €3,500 per month, based on experience.
• Fixed‑term contract (Co.Co.Co.) for 18 months with possible extension.
