Production Technician – Shift Based – Malta

About the role

Baxter is seeking a Production Technician to join its Malta plant on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role is shift‑based and focuses on maintaining equipment availability, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and supporting new process installations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned production equipment.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and execute corrective actions promptly.
• Support the Engineering team with installation, validation, and improvement of new processes.
• Follow Baxter’s global and local procedures, as well as health, safety, and environmental SOPs.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with plant‑wide strategic programs.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification.
• Proven experience as a Production Technician or in a similar industrial manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing equipment and safety regulations.
• Good physical condition and stamina for shift work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
