Process Engineer – Continuous Improvement

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Process Engineer to support its mission of saving lives through high‑quality vehicle safety components. You will lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, ensure production standards, and help launch new products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to meet AMG performance targets.
• Provide technical support in industrial engineering, including PFMEA, line balancing and efficiency improvements.
• Define, document and maintain production standards such as SWI, setup sheets and FMEA.
• Establish and optimise production flow, methods, standard times and capacity targets.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities, 8D teams and internal audits.
• Analyse production performance (DPMU, LMPU) and implement corrective actions.
• Support new‑product launches and machine acceptance to ensure process readiness.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and AMC/AMG teams to improve quality, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate engineering changes and production updates for new products and process modifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or process engineering.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of machine automation and manufacturing processes.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
