Lead Platform Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Platform Operations Engineer to head a team of engineers and collaborate closely with architects and delivery managers. You will design, automate, and secure cloud platforms while driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in delivering cloud platform solutions.
• Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Ensure platform security by integrating DevSecOps practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with architects to define cloud architecture and hybrid (on‑premise & cloud) strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement in platform operations.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, software engineering or DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Azure (compute, networking, security, data).
• Kubernetes.
• Hybrid cloud environments (on‑premise & cloud).
• Cloud security, DevSecOps, secure SDLC (SAST, DAST).
• Knowledge of ISO27001, SOC2 and OWASP practices.
• Cryptography, TLS/SSL, certificate management.
