Launch Project Quality Engineer

About the role

Autoliv is looking for a Launch Project Quality Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards for safety‑critical components such as seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels. You will act as the plant’s voice within the AS100 Project CFT and support the entire product launch lifecycle from TG0 to TG4.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in AS100 Project CFT from TG0 to TG4 and represent plant quality issues.
• Attend and contribute to design reviews (DR1, DR2, DR3) and ensure alignment of PFMEA, control plans, CC/SC lists and drawings.
• Manage pre‑production and production control plans, prototype quality checks and cascade customer‑specific quality requirements.
• Prepare and verify initial PPAP, review internal supplier PPAP, and moderate 8D problem‑solving activities.
• Support manufacturing release processes, verify lab test gauges, LAT/COP plans, and ensure proper forecasting of calibration parts and master samples.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in project, production or supplier quality.
• Experience in multinational automotive environments and familiarity with AIAG core tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; fluent in English and French.
• Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, product testing, industry certifications and customer quality systems.

Required skills

• AIAG core tools: FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC.
• Dimensional tolerancing (GD&T) and metrology/gaging methods.
• Problem‑solving methodology (AS063/8D) and PFMEA (AS104, AS106).
• Manufacturing Release Process (AS403) and control‑plan management.
