Launch Project Manager – Manufacturing Projects

About the role

Autoliv is dedicated to saving lives by developing safety components such as seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels. As a Launch Project Manager you will lead the industrialisation and launch of new manufacturing projects, ensuring they move smoothly from concept to production while meeting high performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrialisation and launch of new manufacturing projects from concept to production.
• Coordinate production strategy, manufacturing readiness, and process implementation activities.
• Manage project timing, costs, and key launch milestones.
• Support line design workshops, process definition, and equipment sourcing activities.
• Monitor production readiness and ensure successful validation builds and run‑at‑rate activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Review manufacturing concepts and drive continuous improvement throughout the launch process.
• Collect and analyse production KPI data to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrialisation, manufacturing project management, or launch management.
• Proven experience coordinating new product launches within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in multinational companies.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and international teams.
