Java Software R&D Engineer

About the role

Vneuron is looking for a Java Software R&D Engineer to join its RegTech platform development team. You will design, develop and integrate new functionalities for the Reis RCS solution, ensuring high code quality and maintaining robust documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate new software functionalities.
• Participate in technical design and architectural discussions.
• Maintain code quality following modern development best practices.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing systems.
• Produce clear technical documentation for all developed features.
• Monitor technology trends and propose improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Significant experience in software development, preferably on large‑scale systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to handle complex technical challenges.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
