Full-time Lifeguard

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at our hotel pool in Tunis. The successful candidate will monitor swimmers, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, welcoming pool environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe the swimming area, identify unsafe conditions, and assist swimmers in distress using appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, promote a safe and fun atmosphere, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness: wash, mop, fold and stack towels, and keep the area tidy.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Uphold company policies, protect confidential information, and ensure a professional appearance.
• Perform physical duties such as lifting, moving, and navigating slippery surfaces as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lb unaided.
• Willingness to comply with local and state safety regulations.
