Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Trim Plant

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to lead and sustain CI initiatives at its Trim Plant in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will champion a performance‑driven culture by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and best‑practice methodologies across production and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate plant‑level Continuous Improvement activities in line with Group Operational Excellence standards.
• Manage and develop the CI team, setting clear objectives and ensuring competency growth.
• Plan and facilitate Kaizen events and CI projects to boost safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate waste using Lean, Six Sigma, and best‑practice tools, delivering measurable financial gains.
• Facilitate cross‑functional teams to optimize manufacturing flow, material management, and labor efficiency.
• Deploy CI tools and standards in alignment with the Global CI network and ensure structured reporting.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
• Proven project‑management and organizational skills.
• Industrial experience in the automotive sector, preferably in trims, seat covers, textiles or similar.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities, fluent in French and English.
