Customer Quality Engineer – Automotive

About the role

Join Lear’s new Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) plant in Bizerte, Tunisia as a Customer Quality Engineer. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between the site and the customer, ensuring that all quality policies and automotive standards are applied consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main communication partner for the customer on site.
• Manage and track customer quality action plans, KPIs and claims.
• Support and participate in P‑FMEA activities.
• Prepare 8D reports and lead problem‑solving meetings.
• Collaborate with APQP engineers on product launch and change management.
• Track PPAP status in serial production and provide release evidence.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, automotive or related).
• Minimum 3 years experience in a customer‑quality role within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent communication skills in both French and English.
