About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Communard to join our hotel kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for hotel staff while ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality in a 5‑star hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily staff meals, including cooking, plating and serving.
- Coordinate with the executive chef to finalize the daily menu.
- Retrieve necessary stock items, update inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Handle post‑service tasks such as packaging, labeling and proper storage of leftovers.
- Maintain compliance with hotel procedures, HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
Required profile
- CAP Cuisine qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in a 5‑star hotel or international gastronomy setting.
- Fluent written and spoken French.
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with Opera or a similar hotel management system is advantageous.
Required skills
- HACCP food safety knowledge.
- Proficiency with the Opera system (or similar).
