Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Financial Sector, Tunis

About the role

The organisation seeks an experienced Chief Technology Officer to define and drive its enterprise technology strategy. Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology operations while leading digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead Infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Cybersecurity, IT Operations and DevOps functions.
• Ensure availability, scalability, performance and security of technology platforms.
• Drive cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization and technology transformation programmes.
• Develop secure, scalable architectures that support growth.
• Oversee cybersecurity governance, risk management and incident response.
• Establish technology standards, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Monitor service performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage strategic technology partners, vendors and outsourced providers.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing multidisciplinary technology teams.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology investments with long‑term priorities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• 12–15 years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale Infrastructure, Networks, Cybersecurity and IT Operations.
• Track record delivering enterprise technology transformation programmes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
