Chef d'Agence – Ariana

About the role

Microcred SA, a fully Tunisian micro‑finance institution, is looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to lead its Ariana agency. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, growth and compliance of the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the agency’s commercial, production, collection and portfolio‑quality targets.
• Develop and retain the client portfolio while expanding the agency’s market presence.
• Plan and supervise field prospecting and business‑development activities.
• Promote the full range of Microcred products and services.
• Lead, motivate and coach the branch team to achieve set objectives.
• Organise daily tasks, allocate responsibilities and foster staff skill development.
• Oversee credit‑request analysis and validation within delegated limits.
• Ensure portfolio quality, monitor arrears and manage collection actions.
• Guarantee adherence to internal procedures, compliance rules and regulatory requirements.
• Safeguard funds, assets, sensitive information and maintain reliable reporting to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Finance, Banking, Management, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking, micro‑finance or financial services.
• Proven expertise in credit‑portfolio management and collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the agency’s coverage area.
• Strong organisational, communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
