Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

About the role

RemoFirst is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to turn business requirements into trusted dashboards, reports, and analytical datasets. You will work closely with stakeholders and Data Engineers to define KPIs, deliver actionable insights, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business reporting and analytics requirements.
• Define KPIs, metrics, and business rules with stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Design reusable analytical datasets and collaborate with Data Modelers.
• Evaluate and refine reporting requirements to deliver scalable solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Support Data Governance initiatives by documenting metrics, dashboard definitions, metadata, and glossary entries.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with BI and data‑visualisation tools (preferably Amazon QuickSight).
• Experience designing analytical datasets using dimensional‑modeling principles.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication abilities.
