Apprentice Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for an Apprentice Data Scientist to join the Data Transformation Department at FORVIA’s Tunisian unit. In this role you will support the team in turning raw data into actionable insights that drive sustainable mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Mine structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop business‑intelligence dashboards and analytical insights.
• Ensure data quality, interpret data issues and perform analysis.
• Prepare datasets for prescriptive and predictive modelling.
• Create ontologies to support knowledge and data management.
• Collaborate with business owners, IT architects and senior data scientists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL and NoSQL database querying.
• Big‑data ecosystems such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• PowerBI for dashboarding.
• Familiarity with Dataiku; knowledge of Palantir is a plus.
• Data modelling, data mining and segmentation techniques.
