Senior SAP Functional Support – Purchasing (MM)

About the role

FORVIA is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Support professional to lead third‑level support for the SAP Material Management (MM) and Purchasing modules. You will act as the IT business partner for operations, ensuring smooth processes and strategic alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 3rd‑level global support for SAP MM & Purchasing, troubleshooting functional issues from L2/BA teams.
• Analyze and design technical solutions for change requests, collaborating with development teams and solution architects.
• Serve as SPOC for SAP plant/R&D centre roll‑outs and lead go‑live activities.
• Customize purchasing modules to match business processes and drive system evolution, upgrades, and extensions (ECC & S/4).
• Collaborate with FICO, SD, WM/EWM, QM and other modules, and participate in Problem Management.
• Create and maintain documentation, train 2nd‑level functional teams, and support user ramp‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Management or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP Purchasing (MM) implementation and support experience.
• At least one full life‑cycle implementation project.
• Strong knowledge of MM customizing and purchasing processes in a production environment.
• Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing processes is a plus.
