Senior Laravel Developer

About the role

Software Morrow Axis is building next‑generation fintech solutions and needs a battle‑tested Senior Laravel Developer. You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of high‑performance, secure backend services that power critical financial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain core Laravel services that handle transactional fintech operations.
• Design robust database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure transaction integrity across complex financial workflows.
• Interface with adjacent Go and Java services, defining clean API contracts and managing data flow.
• Write comprehensive automated tests and perform stress‑testing to guarantee resilience under heavy load.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database queries, API responses, and queue/job processing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production experience with Laravel, including queues, events, service providers, and large‑scale Eloquent usage.
• Proven experience building secure, zero‑downtime transactional systems in a fintech environment.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, transaction isolation levels, and caching strategies.
• Pragmatic architectural mindset – knows when to refactor and when to preserve stable services.
