About the role
LEONI is looking for a Quality Audits & Methods Engineer to lead internal and external quality audits and drive continuous improvement across its production facilities. You will ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, safety and environmental regulations, and support the implementation of best‑practice quality tools.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and follow‑up on internal QM and external audit certifications (QM & SHE) for the production site.
- Verify corrective and preventive actions from audits and maintain auditor qualifications.
- Ensure plant compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and local regulations.
- Identify, present and monitor lessons learned and best practices together with the Quality Operations team.
- Develop and deliver training programs aligned with the global qualification matrix.
- Coach teams on quality standards and tools such as 8D, QRQC, PDCA, QIP, PPAP, AQP, PFMEA and MSA.
- Organise quality contests and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- University degree in a scientific field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management or audit functions.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong social and intercultural sensitivity, change‑management mindset and result orientation.
Required skills
- Internal and external audit execution.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
- Quality tools: 8D, QRQC, PDCA, QIP, PPAP, AQP, PFMEA, MSA.
- Training design and delivery for quality standards.
- Audit qualification maintenance.
