Hotel PBX Operator – Guest Communications

About the role

The Hotel PBX Operator ensures smooth telephone communication for guests, staff and external callers at Four Seasons Tunis. Working in a luxury hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for all phone interactions, supporting the Front Office and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, following hotel standards.
• Route calls accurately to guest rooms, departments or external numbers.
• Handle guest requests, wake‑up calls, messages and emergency calls.
• Maintain records of wake‑up calls and message handling.
• Provide guests with hotel information, services and directions.
• Coordinate communication during emergencies according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor and operate the PBX and related communication equipment.
• Report technical issues with telephone systems to the appropriate department.
• Support Front Office operations when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Front Office or PBX operations is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
