Expert Customer Demand Planning

About the role

LEONI is seeking an Expert Customer Demand Planning professional to ensure accurate production scheduling and on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) deliveries for its automotive customers. You will work closely with production, procurement and logistics teams to align demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity while minimizing obsolete stock.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a workable production plan based on customer demand and the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Monitor production output continuously to guarantee finished‑goods availability in line with demand and inventory strategy.
• Identify urgent orders, escalate issues, and propose alternative delivery plans when deadlines are at risk.
• Support dispatch, outbound truck planning, and coordinate material availability with procurement.
• Maintain accurate finished‑goods inventory data in the ERP system and assist with technical change processes to avoid material shortages.
• Communicate regularly with advanced finished‑goods warehouses and selected customers for direct deliveries.
• Prepare analyses for claims related to obsolete stock or non‑performance costs caused by demand deviations.
• Track excess stock and implement actions to reduce it.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain or demand planning.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, change‑management, result orientation, resilience, self‑organization, conflict management and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory and production planning.
