Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

Vneuron is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead its information security program and drive ISO 27001 certification. You will shape security strategy across a fast‑growing RegTech organization that combats financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive ISMS aligned with ISO 27001.
• Lead the company toward ISO 27001 certification and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify, assess and mitigate information security risks across all departments.
• Strengthen data confidentiality, incident response processes and overall security posture.
• Integrate logical, technical and physical security controls into the ISMS framework.
• Conduct internal audits, drive continuous improvement, and monitor regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
• Develop and deliver employee awareness and security training programs.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in information security, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in ISO 27001 frameworks and information security governance.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and other regulatory compliance obligations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISA, CRISC) are a plus.
• Excellent risk management, incident response, leadership and communication skills.
