Specialist Operational Excellence Methods & Tools

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Specialist in Operational Excellence Methods & Tools to drive continuous improvement across its Tunisian plant. You will be responsible for defining, deploying, and sustaining OPEX practices that enhance operational performance and support the company’s transformation in the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Define and apply appropriate OPEX methods and tools to improve operational performance in the assigned area.
• Conduct operational investigations and develop the annual Continuous Improvement (CI) plan with plant management commitment.
• Participate in internal OPEX audits to ensure alignment with plant goals, requirements, and corporate strategy.
• Lead the deployment and sustainability of the OPEX system, including manuals, whitebooks, and standards.
• Ensure OPEX routines, methods, and tools are consistently respected.
• Design and deliver training/coaching programs based on the standard OPEX curriculum.
• Select suitable tools from the OPEX toolbox for specific improvement initiatives.
• Manage individual CI processes to engage all employees in daily improvement activities.
• Act as PMO for improvement projects and Continuous Improvement workshops, supporting performance‑deviation actions.
• Develop OPEX resource skills through theoretical and practical training, skill‑matrix management, and development plans.
• Identify, implement, and share local best practices within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2) and French (minimum C1).
• Strong communication and intercultural sensitivity.
• Experience with change management and result‑oriented mindset.
• Motivation, resilience, self‑organization, conflict management, and teamwork abilities.
