Server – Food & Beverage

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Server in Tunis, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic hospitality environment. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience while adhering to the brand’s high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages promptly and courteously.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate any special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
