Senior Vice President – Operations

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Operations will be the most senior industrial leader for a multinational manufacturing group operating in Tunisia. The role is accountable for the entire production system, ensuring it drives value creation, meets cost and quality targets, and scales with the company’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute industrial strategy and footprint across six entities, aligning production with commercial goals.
• Lead capacity planning, make‑or‑buy decisions, and site‑repositioning to support growth.
• Own operational and financial KPIs such as margin per site, production cost, OTD, lead time, and scrap, directly influencing group EBIT.
• Manage cost base end‑to‑end, including headcount, consumables, subcontracting, and material usage.
• Oversee capex portfolio, ensuring each investment delivers measurable topline or margin impact.
• Drive digital and AI initiatives in production and supervise industrial excellence programs.
• Lead integration of acquired companies’ production systems and KPIs.
• Engage with key customers on capacity, lead times, certifications, and new markets.
• Manage site directors and the Industrial Excellence function, building a robust, succession‑ready organization.

Required profile

• Senior COO / VP Operations profile with genuine business and financial acumen – reads a P&L and understands the margin implications.
• Proven experience leading multi‑site industrial operations and driving performance against financial targets.
