Senior Process Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing

Visteon, a leader in the automotive industry, is looking for an experienced process engineer to join its Process Engineering team. The role drives process improvements, optimizes manufacturing workflows and ensures engineering processes integrate smoothly to support the production of advanced automotive components. It calls for a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve process issues and prevent recurrence.
• Work with design, quality and manufacturing teams to align processes with product specifications.
• Run process capability studies and statistical analysis to monitor and improve process performance.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Support new product introductions with process documentation, work instructions and training materials.
• Manage process validation and qualification to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Use process simulation and modeling tools to anticipate manufacturing challenges.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners on process consistency and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field focused on manufacturing processes.
• At least 5 years of process engineering experience in the automotive industry, preferably with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
