Senior Annuities Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Annuities Specialist you will lead the end‑to‑end renewal and maintenance of patents, trademarks and designs for an international client portfolio. You will ensure timely payment of fees, advise clients on renewal strategies and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute payment of maintenance fees to national and international IP offices (e.g., INPI, EPO, WIPO) while respecting statutory deadlines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for IP managers and legal directors, validating renewal strategies and addressing business needs.
• Identify data anomalies, mitigate risks, and resolve office actions, rejections or disputes proactively.
• Contribute to the digitisation and simplification of payment workflows within the IP management system.
• Conduct client onboarding calls in English, clearly explaining annuity management processes.
• Support the development of junior specialists through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in IP annuities and renewals, preferably in an IP law firm or multinational environment.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to work under strict deadlines and a results‑driven mindset.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced use of IP management software such as Anaqua, IPizon or DIAMS.
• Familiarity with official patent and trademark office portals.
