Compliance Data and Analytics Expert

About the role

Join the Tunis Compliance Department as a Data and Analytics Expert, reporting to the Head of Compliance Tunis and the Group COO. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting compliance decisions across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, explore, and analyse data from databases, APIs and external platforms to identify trends, anomalies and emerging compliance risks.
• Create and maintain automated data extraction, monitoring processes and recurring management information reports, dashboards and visualisations.
• Define KPIs with compliance leaders, own the KPI framework and provide ad‑hoc analyses for risk‑based decision‑making.
• Implement data governance best practices, monitor data quality, maintain data lineage and support remediation frameworks.
• Drive digitalisation of compliance processes through automation, workflow optimisation and responsible AI use.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, compliance or financial services.
• Proactive, curious, team‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English; French and German are assets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation and analytics.
• Understanding of AI concepts and interest in AI‑enabled compliance solutions.
• Knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes and data‑visualisation best practices.
