Quality Audit Expert – Internal & External Certifications

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Quality Audit Expert to lead internal QM and external audit certifications (QM & SHE) within its production facility in Tunisia. You will ensure compliance with customer, safety, and environmental standards while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and follow‑up on the internal audit programme for the facility.
• Conduct audits to verify adherence to internal standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits.
• Maintain auditor qualifications and manage re‑qualifications according to LEONI and customer requirements.
• Ensure plant compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and local regulations.
• Identify, present and monitor lessons learned and best practices with the Quality Operations team.
• Develop and deliver training programmes based on the global qualification matrix.
• Coach staff on quality tools such as 8D, QRQC, PDCA, QIP, PPAP, AQP, PFMEA and MSA.
• Organise quality contests and assess adherence to customer‑specific FMEA requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English (C1 level) – both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Audit planning and execution (internal & external).
• Corrective and preventive action management.
• Quality tools: 8D, QRQC, PDCA, QIP, PPAP, AQP, PFMEA, MSA.
• Standards knowledge: IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
• Trainer qualification and delivery.
