Networking Sales Specialist – Africa

About the role

This position is based onsite at an HPE office and focuses on driving networking sales across the African region. You will work within Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s global edge‑to‑cloud business, helping customers adopt HPE networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Sell moderately complex networking solutions, products and services to a portfolio of assigned accounts.
• Create and maintain account plans for medium to high‑complexity customers.
• Generate, qualify and manage new leads, collaborating with channel partners and outside sales teams.
• Understand client requirements and position HPE solutions competitively to support retention and growth.
• Build a targeted sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and drive data‑driven sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in IT or Sales.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in account management, sales or related fields.
• Intermediate subject‑matter knowledge with the ability to solve moderately complex business issues.
• Independent judgment within defined policies and the ability to make recommendations.

Required skills

• Proficient account management, acquisition, retention and development capabilities.
• Strong understanding of HPE’s product and service portfolio.
• Knowledge of IT and industry solutions that address business challenges.
• Effective communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
