Medical Representative RX

About the role

Recordati is hiring a medical representative to promote its pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists and hospitals. The goal is to increase prescriptions and brand awareness while respecting regulations and professional ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the company's pharmaceutical products to doctors and pharmacists, presenting characteristics, indications, contraindications and therapeutic benefits, and answering technical and medical questions.
• Organise and carry out regular visits to prescribers, planned and opportunistic, and take part in medical training programmes and scientific meetings.
• Identify prescribers' needs and prescription opportunities, implement the company's commercial and medical action plans and meet sales targets in the assigned area.
• Report market information, therapeutic trends and competition to management.
• Maintain lasting relationships with prescribers and pharmacists, follow orders and sample requests, and represent the company at medical events, congresses and symposia.
• Enter visits and commercial data into the CRM or internal tracking tool, and provide accurate reports on activities, results and market feedback.

Required profile

• Degree in science or medicine (pharmacy, biology, medicine or equivalent).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in medical visits or pharmaceutical sales; a graduated trainee may be considered depending on the profile.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, regulations and the local medical environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, organisation, autonomy and ability to persuade and influence ethically.
• Team spirit and collaboration with colleagues and management.
• Fluency in local languages and English (desired).

• Master of medical sales and negotiation techniques.
