Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the planning and implementation of assembly and electronic production processes for automotive projects. The role involves feasibility studies, concept development, and on‑site support for production line relocations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, develop concepts and present results to customers.
• Plan detailed assembly and electronic processes, including layout and logistics.
• Define product design for manufacturing, collaborate on FMEAs and create production specifications.
• Calculate automation investment payback, manage procurement and commissioning of assembly equipment.
• Conduct MTM/UAS time studies, manage workflow data and master data in SAP.
• Provide on‑site support for line relocation and assist foreign operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering or industrialization experience in the automotive sector.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP for master data and workflow management.
• Knowledge of MTM and UAS time‑study methods.
• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and participation in FMEA activities.
• Ability to perform cost analysis and automation payback calculations.
