Senior Electronics Firmware Engineer

About the role

Silki is building its initial engineering team to develop embedded electronics and firmware in a new lab in Mahdia, Tunisia. As a Senior Electronics Firmware Engineer you will lead projects from concept to validated product.

Key responsibilities

• Lead embedded electronics projects from idea to technical design, prototype and validated solution.
• Design, develop, test and debug embedded firmware.
• Handle hardware design, component selection, schematic reviews, board bring‑up and hardware‑software integration.
• Investigate technical issues, evaluate trade‑offs and make engineering decisions.
• Help establish the lab, testing processes and development standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with hands‑on firmware and electronics hardware.
• Strong C/C++ and Assembly skills, experienced with microcontrollers.
• Practical experience in circuit design, schematic interpretation, PCB development and hardware troubleshooting.
• Confidence using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other debugging tools.
• Autonomous with strong engineering judgment and ability to own projects from start to delivery.
