About the role
The Manager, R&D Product Development will lead product and project teams from concept through the development cycle, ensuring strategic and technical direction aligns with customer needs and corporate goals.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate product/project teams from conception through development.
- Implement and communicate strategic and technical direction for the team.
- Identify customer needs for specific projects and manage their development and execution.
- Collaborate with corporate development to create overall launch plans for new products.
- Prepare strategic pre‑launch and pre‑marketing plans and contribute to long‑ and short‑term marketing strategies.
- Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
Required profile
- First‑level managerial position with responsibility for achieving objectives and managing resources.
- Experience managing a department of professional‑track employees, with possible support‑track reports.
