Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will support customers by installing, maintaining, and restoring medical imaging systems such as MRI and CT scanners. You will work within GE HealthCare’s operational framework to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers during installation of new medical imaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems, complying with quality and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using established procedures.
• Consult supervisors or experienced team members for non‑standard situations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical problems.

Required profile

• A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in medical equipment maintenance or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, radio engineering, mechanics, and the physics of magnetic fields, X‑rays and ultrasound.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with good English proficiency.
